Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown cards



Space-Time Smackdown is coming soon to Pokemon TCG Pocket, as Nintendo has officially confirmed what will the game's next major expansion.




The winter months were pretty busy for the developers which saw the release of the game itself, followed by the Mythical Island mini-expansion. The upcoming expansion is expected to be far bigger, and the official trailer has confirmed the release date. We have also got first glimpse of some of the Pokemon who will be present in the expansion.




Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown release date




Before January 2025 ends, we will be able to get our hands (digital of course) on the new cards coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket as part of the Space-Time Smackdown expansion. The confirmation comes in less than 24 hours after the expansion was leaked on social media.




The new expansion will be going live globally on January 29, but the full list of the new cards are yet to be released. Thankfully, the trailer has given a fair idea about some of the upcoming additions.

All Space-Time Smackdown cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket




The Space-Time Smackdown will focus around two legendary creatures: Palkia and Dialga. Unlike Genetic Apex, we will be getting two different types of packs to open in the game.





  • Palkia Ex will be a water type card with 150 HP, and Slash as its first move. It will do 30 damage for 1 energy, while Dimension Storm will be the second attack. This move will do 150 damage to the Active Pokemon and 20 damage to all your opponents Benched Pokemon for four energy. After the move, Palkia EX will drop three energy.



  • Dialga EX will alos have 150 HP, and Metallic Turbo as its first move. Metallic Turbo will do 30 damage, and attach two Metal energy to a benched Pokemon, while Heavy Impact will do 100 damage for four energy.
