The Paolo Maldini Icon SBC is now live in EA FC 25, and you can complete the challenge to get the Italian legend added to your squad in Ultimate Team.

This is the first time that everyone has an equal chance of adding this special card to their squad. However, doing so is going to be an expensive affair as the cost of completing the challenge is pretty high.

There can hardly ever be any complaints over just how good Maldini is in the game. However, this base version is hardly as impactful as it used to be once, and the power curve will shift further as EA Sports continues to release new promo items. If you have a lot of surplus fodder, you could consider completing the challenge.

Recent releases like the Guti Fantasy Hero SBC, in contrast, offer far more value in the grand scheme of things.
