The Advanced Access for WWE 2K25 has run into a snag for PC users, as many members have been unable to download and install the latest wrestling game.
If things worked out as per plans, the game should be available as of this writing if you have purchased either the Deadman or Bloodline Edition. The latter promises up to seven days of extra access starting March 7. However, many members have reported being unable to download the game.
Here are a set of possible fixes to solve the situation.
WWE 2K25 Advanced Access not downloading on Steam fixes
Nobody knows the exact issue, but I have encountered it when trying to download the older FIFA games. If you check the following image, you'll see that it's being shown that WWE 2K25 isn't available yet. That's applicable only for the Standard Edition, as the Advanced Access period for Bloodline and Deadman Editions is now live.
Here are a few steps you can take to solve the problem. Ultimately, it's more of a matter of trial and error for now, as a permanent solution has to come from 2K and Steam.
- Manually switch to offline mode from within Steam, or turn the internet connection off on your PC. Make a clean restart for your Steam client and PC if the first part doesn't work.
- Sign out of your Steam account and sign back in.
- If you have the Steam application on your phone, try Remote Download. Ensure your system is on; otherwise, the remote download won't work.
- Go to Steam settings and then to Downloads. Clear the cache and restart Steam. Do not do this while downloading a big file, as all the downloaded content will be instantly deleted.
Ultimately, a permanent fix is expected very soon from 2K and Steam, as such a situation has happened before. If you're stuck in a loop for the time being, make sure to check out the complete list of wrestlers available in the game, along with their overall ratings.
