How to create a convoy in Forza Horizon 6 and play with friends

Forza Horizon 6 has many ways to challenge yourself against other human players (if you’re bored of beating the AI), and you can also do so exclusively between your friends. While it’s a multiplayer experience, you can use Convoys to create a room for you and your friends only.

Let’s figure out how the process works.

How to create a Convoy in Forza Horizon 6

The Convoy is Forza Horizon 6′s equivalent of creating a co-op room. Only you and your friends can enter this room and engage in various activities. If you’re new to Forza Horizon 6 and the series, the Convoy concept could be a tad confusing. Here’s how you can make your own Convoy (or join one your buddy made).

  • Go to the Online tab after pausing the game.
  • Head over to the Convoy tab (on the left part of the screen).
  • From here, you can choose one of two options: Join a Convoy that your buddy has created, or make your own. Choose the second one.
  • Invite your friends from the list to send them an invite.
  • Your friends will be able to join using the request that you just sent.

Each Convoy can have a maximum of 12 players (including yourself), so there’s a lot of freedom regarding whom you want to invite.

If you want to join a Convoy, you can do so using your friend’s invite. Once accepted, you’ll directly enter the lobby and participate in any available race. As an alternative, you can make the process easier by changing the privacy of your room.

If you opt for ‘My Friends can join me’, anyone who is added as an in-game friend will be able to join your lobby directly. If you choose ‘Invite Only’, you’ll need to send your friend an invite to join. You can also keep crossplay on if your group is playing on PC and the Xbox consoles.
