Resident Evil Requiem seems to be following in RE2 Remake’s footsteps, new footage shows
Resident Evil: Requiem is one of the most anticipated horror titles at the moment, and is set to launch early next year. However, we haven't seen much gameplay of it as of yet, but a recent documentary aired in Japan has now changed that. In a brief section of the documentary dealing with RE9 's development, which ai red on NHK on Nov. 29, we got to see an early snippet of gameplay following the game's protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, as she fights zombies in a ruined Raccoon Police Department building. The gameplay and camera angle are very reminiscent of the RE remakes we've been getting for the past few years, much more so than recent new RE games like 7 or Village . The shooting seems more punchy, slow, and methodical, which significantly amplifies the tension and realism of the scene.
